Justin Moon wins Pre Final & takes a well deserved 2nd at Sonoma SKUSA Pro Moto!
It was a tough week end for Justin as his motor let go during Saturdays event. He was making the final turn of the last lap while in third place when his motor blew sending Justin spinning off the track. This meant he would have to start last for the main. He also needed to repair the motor and run without a chance to break it in. Without a used piston the Moon Racing Team dug through the previous days trash and found a piston, mayonase was wiped from the piston and with a new ring it was installed. Justin started last and finished fourth setting the fastest lap of the race and the new track record in the process. On Sunday Justin qualified 2nd, and won the heat race. He started on the pole for the main event, during the 28 lap event he bent his axel making it difficult to keep traction. He lost the lead but still finished a respectale 2nd.
